All in a days work for Tan Yun and a nightmare for those against him lol

zanetano • 2 years ago

wait a minute... did i miss something again?
How do they suddenly know tan yun's name? 6:18
didn't he disguise himself?...
---edit---
yea... at 7:22 he asks about tan yun's identity... so i'm not stupid... :) they should not know his name before...

Dase • 2 years ago

There are three groups, one that was chasing him before he entered the market, one is the fat man from the Law division, and the other group is the one that came from the marketplace hoping to steal from Tan Yun. the group that was chasing Tan Yun knew who he was already, the studio didnt really present it very well, since in the novel there were a lot more people involved

It really is the little things, from the time he said I must die? I was straight gone! This is how peer pressure leads you to destruction. That idiot let his friends convince him everything was ok like the MC ain't just shish kebab their leader. Granted it wouldn't have helped even if he ran but he would have a head start at least.

Run away seperately in the same direction an inch from each other. I see lackey training is unchaged

There is another series called heaven extinction martial emperor that is super similar to this one, except better so far. It has a smarter MC similar to Sovereign of Three Realms or Transcending the 9 Heavens. Same thing, godking betrayed and killed, reincarnated.

No harem (girls who follow at times, but he's uninterested in romance), and I'm about 1k chapters in. Smart MC, whose perspective is different - neither boastful nor ruthless. Maybe too lenient, but he's a godking with a different point of view.

As for Against the Sky, I dropped it after a while. It got too different from the initial character and became more peerless martial god if you know what i mean. Also, a huge harem that he has to "water" when he has time. Separations of hundreds of years, and they're obediently staying secluded to cultivate waiting for him. That's just dumb - who would do that?

loyal people which seems you nothing about

TheMMSpirit • 2 years ago

hat's kind of harsh. I offended you?

I like to read the genre, but they have a tendancy to get strange. Most young men can't expect their girlfriend to wait a few months while they're deployed - do you know how many servicemembers get the dear john letter? It's at least half.

Hundreds of years? Thousands of years?

The point I was making - this was a good series to a point. Once it got to the point of the MC stashing his harem to visit only a decades or centuries later from time to time caused me to drop it. The MC began to behave increasingly more like PMG rather than a smarter one like SOTR or Emperor's Domination.

When a series that was good at first then goes away from my taste, I tend to drop it. It's not like there isn't dozens of similar to spend weeks apiece reading.

I also like the worldbuilding and relationships in a series done right - Martial God, Martial Universe, Desolate Era, King of Gods, Upgrade Specialist, ect. Long absences also, but done right.

Do you like to discuss books or others who post? Maybe that's why I make "drive by posts".

Fair points. There are very, very few women who are loyal to the extent where they could wait several years, the biological clock is ticking. There truly are no unicorns. Once you understand female nature (the red pill) your perspective on what is truly important changes. Call it enlightenment if you will.

Smiley Face • 2 years ago

This is a work of fiction, it takes artistic license on things that would not be applicable to real life, so women who cultivates to higher level will have their life extended and as such, their biological clock is extended
Not all stories are perfect, either that guy likes it or they don't, but trying to apply real world logic to a work of fiction is stupid
Normally I wouldn't waste my time on drive-by posters, they don't want any discussion or don't have the courtesy to reply, just someone who wants attention by saying "Hey read my paragraphs of comments, I need attention, but I won't respond cause I only want you to read my comments"
Wasn't it you that asked him about the translated novel for this anime? And someone else responded to your question

Aerlis Ambrosius • 2 years ago

Ah, I see. Well I don't pay that much attention to who is replying to me when I ask a question. I figure its public and fair game for anyone to reply. Also, while I do watch a lot of these donghuas and often comment also...I have been thinking lately that I should probably eliminate the time wasting practice entirely, or perhaps maybe just on the weekends. If that happens, I hope no one minds if I don't reply to posts much anymore.
As to reality vs. fantasy we are all very much aware that unicorns don't actually exist, but that doesn't stop us from reading or watching fantasy where they do. As far as I am concerned anyone can have any opinions they like on these stories and discuss it here, and that includes opinions about how a human would or should react in a situation. My comment about the female biological clock was a thinly veiled reference to female nature and almost universal lasciviousness. I doubt female nature would change all that much even with an extended lifespan. But that's just my opinion. I am certainly not one who thinks all opinions are equally valid, that is just stupid. Its all fantasy so it doesn't matter anyway.

I used to watch anime for many years on NWanime and post and comment over there from time to time. There was one guy with the name "EyesZero" or Eyes00 or something but every anime that I liked he would comment on it and talk a few paragraphs on why it was trash. Everyone hated that guy ...for years. I did too. Couldn't stand the guy, total ass. But honestly, after a few years, he started to gain a following. There were people who actually said they appreciated his filtering out the trash anime so they would know not to watch! I don't know. I think they are all douchebags anyway! lol The thing is, I really liked a lot of those trashy, sappy, stupid or harem or ridiculously overpowered mc animes. And I guess I wasn't alone because they were always the most popular ones...but to Eyes00 they were all trash.

To each his own I guess.

I tend not to pay much attention either, but I clicked on his profile and read his previous comments, that's why I called him a drive-by poster, he would comment and then wipe his ass and disappear, I saw you asking him a question yet he never bothered to respond

My reply about the whole woman biological thing wasn't meant to target you, it was to show that even in fiction, there is a certain amount of "logic" - their life is extended and so their biological clock
I am not trying to defend the author but authors don't write every single second, hour or day of the main characters, we don't know what happens during certain times, for all we know Tan Yun could be showing his affection to his wives, he could be taking them out watching the sunset, the author is not going to write about every single thing that goes on with Tan Yun, to give an example In Battle through the Heavens, Xiao Yan never went shopping with Medusa, yet it was in the anime, so if you only read the novel, that never happened, yet it is shown that could happen
I am not denying the original poster is wrong, he is more than welcome to his own opinion, nothing wrong that; just one thing, someone might not agree with them. Like you said all opinions are equally valid, whether the response is polite or rude that is internet life, my friend, The OP can choose not to reply but as you mentioned before, it is fair game, when people decide respond to his comments
I can agree with you that everyone has different tastes, but sharing his opinion by comparing Against the Sky to another novel that isn't made into an anime doesn't offer a point of reference, since no one will know what the story is about unless he got confused Peerless Martial God with Peerless Martial Spirit, both are different novels which was pointed it out to him by someone commenting on one of his posts

Smiley Face • 2 years ago

I would ignore "him", just pops in, post something random then disappear, "he" never replies or hold a proper discussion, just another one of those drive-by poster

yourmom420 • 2 years ago

thanks man will do just another snowflake asking if they offended me. like this is the real world just cuz I have a different opinion I'm offended lmfao.

TheMMSpirit • 2 years ago

That's twice you've made some vicious little comments over nothing.

You're something else, a real keyboard warrior. Your parents should be proud.
